I’m Ziyao, a Chinese creative technologist and innovation designer currently based in New York City.
I'm pursuing an MFA in Design and Technology at Parsons School of Design, where my work focuses on the convergence of technology, art, and human collaboration.
With a background in Virtual Video Production and Digital Media Arts from the Communication University of China, I aim to push the boundaries of creative expression by integrating AI and interactive media. My research explores multisensory experiences and non-linear interaction models, particularly how AI can enhance human creativity and foster more meaningful collaborations. Through my projects, which blend art and technology, I seek to foster dialogue between people, machines, and the environments we inhabit.
My work is deeply rooted in exploring how AI and technology can transform creative processes, especially in the context of human-machine collaboration. By developing AI-powered tools and interactive experiences, I aim to enhance creative workflows and promote a seamless integration of technology into artistic practices.
When I’m not immersed in my creative work, I love exploring the world with a sense of curiosity. I enjoy trying out new and exciting things, capturing interesting everyday moments with my camera, and photographing the diverse cloud formations I see each day. These small wonders in my daily life keep me inspired and constantly fuel my creative journey.
