Introduction

EmoVisArt combines facial expression capture technology with artificial intelligence (AI) image generation technology to generate unique dynamic visual artworks in real time through emotional feedback from the audience. Every subtle expression of the audience is analyzed in real time by the capture system, and the corresponding image changes are generated through AI algorithms. This technology not only broadens the form of artistic expression, but also makes the audience a participant in artistic creation. The project uses real-time visual processing with TouchDesigner to combine facial data with an AI generation system to present real-time interactive artworks.



Concept

The core concept of the project is real-time emotion mapping, which uses advanced facial capture technology to obtain the viewer's expression data, such as eye blinking, eyebrow movements, mouth opening and closing, and then transmits this data to an AI image generation system. The AI uses a trained model to generate corresponding visual art effects based on emotional feedback. Each viewer's expression changes are reflected in real time in the dynamic images on the screen, making each interaction a personalized and unique work of art.

Technically, the project uses the Zig Sim Pro app to capture facial movements and a CNN to classify and recognize emotions, thereby generating highly accurate emotion maps. TouchDesigner is responsible for processing and displaying this emotional data, transforming it into dynamic art effects.




Goals

- Optimize the accuracy of emotion recognition: Through the CNN emotion capture model, subtle expressions of the audience (such as eye contact, smiles, frowns, etc.) can be accurately recognized, and the real-time response speed can be further improved to ensure that the visual art can seamlessly and simultaneously reflect the emotions of the audience.

- Breakthrough in traditional interactive art forms: By combining facial capture and AI image generation, the project hopes to achieve a new form of artistic interaction, breaking away from the traditional static display method, so that the artwork can respond to the audience's emotional feedback in real time, creating a dynamic and personalized artistic effect.

- Enhance the artistic experience: By integrating emotional data and generating artistic images, the project maps emotions onto visual works, so that the audience is not just a passive observer, but directly participates in artistic creation through emotional interaction.
